Daniela Peterson, MA, LPC

Daniela Peterson is the founder and Clinical Director of VISTA COUNSELING. Based in the community of Jackson, Wyoming, Daniela has dedicated 18 years to serving the local area with mental health care through various organizations as well as her private practice.
Daniela completed her studies with distinction at Universidad Bolivariana in Chile, her homeland, earning a degree in clinical psychology in 2005. She holds the equivalent of a Master's degree in Psychology, which qualifies her to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Her comprehensive expertise spans trauma therapy. She has gained specialization in Neurotherapy and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Neurofeedback, also referred to as EEG Biofeedback. She assists both children and adults in their mental health journeys.
Over her years of dedicated service in Wyoming, Daniela has been the recipient of numerous industry accolades. Notably, she was honored with the Starfish Thrower Award by the Wyoming Department of Health in 2007 for establishing the state's first Spanish-speaking substance abuse outpatient treatment program. Further, in 2014, she received recognition from the Division of Victims of the State of Wyoming for her exceptional work in aiding victims of abuse.
Beyond her clinical work, Daniela has contributed to documentaries, including RoadTrip Nation, and featured in the PBS series "A State of Mind,".

Lenka Cervenanova, MS, LPC

Lenka earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix before advancing her academic journey with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Specializing in a range of therapeutic techniques, Lenka is proficient in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Hypnotherapy, Trauma-Informed Care, DBT (Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy), and CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy).
Her exceptional skills in trauma therapy for both adolescents and adults make her a valuable member of the Vista Counseling team. Lenka utilizes a tailored approach in her psychotherapy sessions, blending empathy, practicality, and relational dynamics to foster meaningful interactions with her clients.

Nicholl Olivares-Rodriguez, MA, PPC

Nicholl earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Arts and Social Sciences ARCIS in Chile. She also holds a diploma in Clinical Adolescent Psychology from Universidad del Desarrollo, Chile, and a Master’s degree in Mental Health, with a focus on Childhood and Adolescence, from the University of Leon, Spain. Nicholl is notably one of only three Spanish-speaking EMDR providers in Wyoming, certified by the EMDR International Association.
With 13 years of clinical experience in Chile, Nicholl has a comprehensive background in addressing mental health conditions in children, adolescents, and adults. In the United States, she has been awarded a Provisional Professional Counseling license by the State of Wyoming. Nicholl's unique combination of international experience and multilingual capabilities make her an invaluable addition to the Vista Counseling team. She specializes in the treatment of trauma and mood disorders in young people.

Meliza Wetzler, MS

Meliza serves as our bilingual Office and Case Manager. Her Spanish language skills were honed during a Peace Corps Masters International program at the University of New Mexico, culminating in her volunteer service in Kuna Yala, Panamá. After relocating to Jackson in 2007, she began her tenure with El Puente, a former local medical interpretation agency.
In her role at Vista Counseling, Meliza assists both our staff and clients with various administrative tasks. She offers English/Spanish interpretation services, facilitating seamless communication between our clients and English-speaking therapists. In her capacity as a case manager, she acts as a vital link between our clients and community agencies, ensuring comprehensive care and support for our clients and their families.

Maggie Cochran, MA, PPC

Maggie Cochran is a skilled therapist who graduated from Northwestern University with a master's degree in Counseling. Her education has equipped her to counsel both adults and children facing various life challenges, using a trauma-informed approach. Maggie is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their goals and find greater peace and fulfillment through empathy, nonjudgmental understanding, and a deep belief in human resilience.
Maggie is specifically trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a therapy that facilitates the processing and healing of traumatic experiences and distressing memories. Her work involves individuals dealing with various mental health issues, including survivors of abuse and sexual assault, anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship concerns, stress management, and life transitions. Additionally, Maggie is one of two therapists on her team who conduct psychological immigration evaluations for immigration cases, supporting clients referred by immigration lawyers.
Outside of her professional work, Maggie enjoys practicing yoga and taking her pup on outdoor adventures.

Paige Johnston, MS, PPC

Paige Johnston grew up in Jackson, WY, and has a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wyoming. She has a deep love for our greater community and is very invested in the well-being of Teton County. She uses a variety of therapeutic modalities in her sessions that are tailored to meet the needs and preferences of each individual. Paige’s modalities include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. Paige emphasizes the mind-body connection and incorporates an empathic and humanistic approach to empower clients through nonjudgment, compassion, and curiosity. Paige enjoys working with adults, adolescents, and children with various mental health concerns, including but not limited to PTSD and trauma, mountain trauma and stress injuries, depression, anxiety, disordered eating, survivors of abuse, grief and loss, relationships and sex, gender identity, stress management, and life transitions. When she is not working, Paige enjoys skiing, mountain biking, yoga, and spending time outdoors with her family and friends.

Julie D'amours, MA, PPC

Julie brings warmth, compassion, and over three decades of experience in the Jackson community to her practice. She holds a Master of Education from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Social Work from Boise State University. Her training has shaped an integrative, evidence-based approach that blends clinical expertise with a deep commitment to client well-being.
She works with adolescents and adults through a strengths-based, client-centered perspective, integrating mindfulness with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care. By tailoring interventions to each individual, she helps clients develop insight, build coping skills, and foster resilience.
Her professional focus includes but is not limited to anxiety, depression, illness, life transitions, parenting, PTSD, relationships, stress management, and grief. Julie is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can clarify values and move toward meaningful change.
Originally from Los Angeles, Julie has lived in Jackson for more than 30 years and feels deeply connected to the community and its natural surroundings. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, running, skiing, yoga, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.

Eliza Perry, Executive Functions Coach/Counselor Intern

Eliza Perry is an Executive Functions Coach and Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern, currently pursuing her Master’s degree through Northwestern University. With a foundation in elementary education, she holds a teaching degree and brings years of experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, through executive functioning strategies that build independence, organization, and confidence.
As a counseling intern, Eliza is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued in their journey toward problem-solving, empowerment, and healing. She collaborates with clients to define and pursue their goals using a trauma-informed approach that integrates Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic techniques, and multicultural perspectives.
After graduating in June 2026, Eliza plans to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in Idaho and Wyoming, working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), combined with her background in executive function coaching, has shaped her expertise and passion for working with neurodiverse populations and those impacted by trauma.
Eliza also views advocacy as an essential part of her role, embracing social justice as an ongoing action. She values collaboration, cultural humility, and continuous self-reflection as she grows in her cultural competence. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys hiking, skiing, running, cooking, attending live music, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Sheila Moore, Certified Professional Coder
Sheila has held her certification in professional coding since 2002 and comes with an impressive two decades of supervisory experience at a major hospital in Indianapolis. In 2015, she founded her own billing and coding company, specializing in helping mental health therapists navigate the complex landscape of contemporary healthcare.
